Elena and Tahlia recently made the journey over to Wuhan, China to attend the 21st International Congress on Nitrogen Fixation. Over the course of five days, they met a lot of rhizobial and plant biologists from many different countries, and heard about the various nitrogen fixation research happening world wide.

Tahlia presented a poster on her work on quorum sensing in Mesorhizobia. Elena presented a poster and also gave a short oral presentation describing her recent work on the integrative and conjugative elements in Mesorhizobia.
